The celebration of Chinese New Year lasts 15 days, and our Middle School Mandarin students spent a couple of weeks working on diverse projects which culminated in interesting presentations.
The celebration of Chinese New Year lasts 15 days, and our Middle School Mandarin students spent a couple of weeks working on diverse projects which culminated in interesting presentations.
Some produced a short film or play on the Chinese Zodiac, others explained the story of Nian, some taught songs of Chinese New Year to their peers, and they all learned how to say and write Chinese characters through calligraphy. The girls all had a lot of fun working on their assignment, and Dr. Ren commended them all on their ability to present so well in Mandarin.
