Grade 3 Students Share Highlights from Co-ed Soccer Tournament
Last week, a group of Grade 3 students had a new opportunity to team up with Linbrook School to compete in a U9 Co-ed Soccer Tournament. After the tournament, two of our athletes enjoyed sharing their highlights from the experience.
"I really enjoyed playing soccer against different schools and meeting new people!" exclaimed Lara. "I felt so good about playing with Linbrook. It felt like SMLS and Linbrook were one big team, we weren't competing against each other," Camila said proudly.
Overall, Coach Hayward and Coach Benoit were so proud of how the team came together throughout the day and learned how to play together and cheer each other on. Being undefeated was just a bonus! Congratulations Elena, Jia, Camila, Maren, Amaranna Lara, Daragh, Emma and Lexi.
